Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Accessibility is not an afterthought for us but a building principle: this website was developed from the first line according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA — in line with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

What that means in practice

• Full keyboard operability, including a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the content.
• Contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for text.
• Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy — reliably readable for screen readers.
• Alternative texts for informative graphics; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technologies.
• Forms with visible labels, clear error messages and sufficiently large touch targets (at least 44 pixels).
• Animations respect the system setting “reduce motion” (prefers-reduced-motion).
• Both language versions (German/English) are correctly declared.

Conformance status

According to our review, this website conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. It was created in July 2026 and is re-checked with every substantial extension.
