Looking for an agency in Berlin? How to actually recognise quality

Berlin has hundreds of agencies — and they all promise the same. These seven criteria separate claim from reality before you spend a euro.

How do you recognise a good creative agency?

You recognise a good agency by its own website and its references: if their own presence loads slowly, cannot be found on Google or is built from templates, your project will end up the same. Also check whether the agency names results instead of only showing aesthetics.

The portfolio beats every pitch deck

Anyone can make sales slides. Instead, examine three references closely: do the pages load fast? Does Google find them? Does the brand feel consistent — from website to social media to photography? An agency that masters only one channel leaves you with patchwork.

Ask about the “afterwards”

The most common failure of agency projects is not the project itself — it is what happens afterwards: nothing. The website ages, the brand dilutes, visibility crumbles. Ask every agency how they organise care after launch. With us, every brand lives on in the Brand Cockpit — a portal where assets, approvals and the current status are always available to you.

AI yes — but grounded

A modern agency uses AI. A good agency tells you what for — and what not for. We combine AI tools with real footage of your people and spaces: the speed and possibilities of the AI world, the credibility of the real one. Your customers spot pure AI facades faster than you think.

What does a creative agency in Berlin cost?

Serious agency work starts with projects in the mid four-figure range; ongoing care is plannable from a fixed monthly fee. What matters is a fixed quote before the project starts with a clearly defined scope — hourly rates without any commitment to outcomes are a warning sign.

The simplest test

Call. Whoever fogs you with jargon in the first conversation will do so during the project. Whoever listens, asks back and honestly says what pays off and what does not — that is who you can trust with your brand.
